What's Your Eye Shape?

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

We all have different eye shapes and knowing which one you have can dramatically change the way you apply your make up and which lashes you choose to wear. Below you can see the main 6 eye shapes.

DEEP SET EYES

Deep set eyes are large and set deeper into the head, creating the illusion of a more prominent brow bone. Strip Eyelashes which are longer in length at the centre of the lashes will suit you the most. Try styles such as Marnie, Charlotte or Amy.

DOWNTURNED EYES

These type of eyes have a slight dropping on the outer corners. Strip Eyelashes which will suit you the most should have the longest lashes at the outer corners to lift your eyes. Try styles such as Abbie, Amelia and Megan.

UPTURNED EYES

The upturned eye takes the form of a classic almond shape. It has natural lift at the outer corners of the eye. The lower lid will have more emphasis and look longer than the top eyelid. You can wear pull off any style you like!

HOODED EYELIDS

You have hooded eyes when the crease on your eyelid isn't visible. This is caused by an extra layer of skin that droops over where the crease is. This causes the lid to appear smaller. In order to open up your eyes up as much as possible, avoid super dramatic lashes, as these will only make your eyes look smaller. Instead, choose a pair which are slightly longer in the center, this will create an illusion of depth. Styles to try are Marnie, Charlotte or Amy.

PROMINENT EYES

You have prominent eyes if your eyelids appear projected in the eye socket area, they are round and big in shape. We recommend lashes that vary in short and medium length. This type of lash will draw attention to your lash line as well as enhancing your natural eye shape.  Styles to try are Abbie and Amy.

MONOLID

Monolids eyes are flat on the surface and don't have much of a crease, if any. The brow bone is also less defined. This is most common among Asian ethnicities. Always curl lashes for a lift. The best Strip lashes for you will be a fluttery lash with crisscross layers that really open up the eye. We recommend styles such as Abbie and Amy.

These type of eyes will also beneift from curling the lashes once they’re applied, which give additional height to your eyes.
